RESEÑA / REVIEW : TWO WEDDING CRASHERS by Meghan Quinn

I don’t know what love is anymore.

Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark. 

You know the kind of spark I’m talking about? 

Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark.

Except I haven't felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me. 

Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem--but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right?

That's how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase. 

It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That will be a breeze. I'm a pro. I can handle this.

Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I'm doing taking a shower in his bathroom. I don't think calling it research will get me out of this pickle. 

But it will make for one hell of a story....

Bueno, eso no es totalmente verdad, pero te voy a decir un secreto: he perdido la chispa.

¿Conoces el tipo de chispa del que estoy hablando?

Donde las mariposas toman vuelo en tu estómago solo porque dos manos colisionan inocentemente. O el que te quedes sin aliento cuando conoces por primera vez a alguien atractivo. Si, esa chispa.

Excepto que no tenido ese sentimiento en mucho tiempo; no queda nada dentro de mi.

Normalmente, esto no serías un problema... pero como escritora con una fecha límite seria y mi editor presionándome por una novela del tipo de amor de Nicholas Sparks. Sin presiones ¿cierto?

Así es como me encuentro volando a través del país para irrumpir en una boda en nombre de la investigación, vestido y tacones metidos en mi maleta pequeña.

Debería de ser la investigación de libro más fácil de todos los tiempos. Bebiendo algo de champaña gratis, disfrutando del amor de dos extraños, y aprovechando mi lado romántico. Eso será una brisa. Soy profesional. Yo puedo con esto.

Hasta que termino equivocadamente en la habitación del hotel equivocada, desnuda como el día en que nací, con el humano más sexy que he conocido, mirándome, preguntándome qué estoy haciendo tomando una ducha en su baño. Llamarlo investigación, no creo que me saque de este lío.

Pero será una increíble historia…

Let's start with that I fell in love with this book…. Beck is my new Book Boyfriend.

I really did not know what to expect, whether it was a Romance-Drama or pure Romance-Erotic book, but I got a great mix of Romance, Drama, Eroticism and Comicity.

Rylee is an author of romance books with erotic overtones that live in a small town where everyone knows each other, has two inseparable friends who are also writers and help each other, this time Rylee has a writer's block and has trouble starting her new novel, then Zoe proposes that her could go to a wedding without being invited, so you her could see the love story of the couple and get inspired by it.

Her trip begins as a disaster between baby vomit and a wrong room key, but ends up in a great holiday romance with a beautiful and incredible man named Beck, who will also break into the same wedding and pass a great time together.

The real issue and the real story comes when that "fling" is no longer just a vacation thing and begins to be something more real, when both have to bare their deepest secrets and try to make theirs work despite the distance... That's when all of it gets better.

"Clothes are just accessories. It's what's beneath us-our true selves-that matters.”

ABOUT THE BOOK

Meghan Quinn, if you are reading this, let me tell you that I loved your book, there were many phrases that came to me personally or made an impact on my life.

The story really teaches you that after the storm a rainbow always arrives, I could not let it go and the fact that its secrets were kept for almost the whole book made me very intrigued.

I give it 5 stars because this book will really make you have a new literary boyfriend without a doubt and I will make you fall in love to the bone.

Empecemos con que esté libro me enamoró… Beck es mi nuevo novio literario.

Realmente no sabía que esperar, si un libro de del estilo Romance-Drama o puro Romance-Erótico, pero obtuve una gran mezcla entre Romance, Drama, Erotismo y Comicidad.

Rylee es una autora de libros de Romance con tintes eróticos que viven en un pequeño pueblo donde todos se conocen, tiene dos inseparables amigas que son escritoras también y entre ellas se ayudan, esta vez Rylee tiene un bloqueo de escritor y le cuesta trabajo comenzar su nueva novela, entonces Zoe le propone el ir a una boda sin estar invitada, para que pueda ver la historia de amor de los novios y que pueda inspirarse en ello.

Su viaje comienza siendo un desastre entre vómito de bebé y una llave de cuarto equivocada, pero termina resultando en un gran romance de vacaciones con un hermoso e increíble chico llamado Beck, el cual también va a irrumpir en la misma boda y de paso pasan un gran tiempo juntos.

La verdadera cuestión y la historia real, viene cuando ese “ligue” deja de ser solo de vacaciones y comienza a ser algo más real, cuando ambos tienen que desnudar sus secretos más profundos e intentar lograr que lo suyo funcione a pesar de la distancia… ahí es cuando toooodo se pone mejor.

“La ropa solo es un accesorio. Lo que está debajo de nosotros, nuestro verdadero ser, es lo que cuenta.”

ACERCA DEL LIBRO

Meghan Quinn, si estás leyendo esto, déjame decirte que amé tu libro, hubieron muchas frases que en lo personal me llegaron o hicieron impacto en mi vida.

La historia realmente te enseña a que después de la tormenta siempre llega un arcoíris, no pude soltarlo y el que sus secretos estuvieran guardados durante casi todo el libro me tenían intrigadísima.

Le doy 5 estrellas porque de verdad este libro te hará tener un nuevo novio literario sin duda y te haré que te enamores hasta los huesos.

Cuando estaba en la escuela secundaria, de vez en cuando leía libros pero me consumían otras cosas de adolescente, así que no me tomé el tiempo de apreciar un buen libro en un día nublado, envuelto en una manta en el sofá. No fue hasta que recibí un Kindle en Navidad que mi mundo se volteó por completo.

Actualmente resido en el hermoso Colorado Springs, donde el sol siempre brilla y hay un sendero que espera ser. Comparto un hogar encantador y cálido con el amor de mi vida y mis cinco hijos de cuatro patas.
