Eso era cierto. Para el año 2003, mi tipo había sido bien establecido. También podría haber un letrero gigante en mi corazón que dijera: "Los buenos no deben aplicar".
Que es exactamente la razón por la que tuve que hacer amistad con Ken Easton. El hombre era una ex estrella del fútbol, olía a ropa limpia en lugar de cigarrillos rancios, y tenía más corbatas en su armario que tatuajes en los nudillos. Pssh. ABURRIDO.
Pero cuanto más conocía a mi compañero de estudio, más preguntas me salía con la suya. Preguntas como, ¿por qué no sale? ¿Por qué evita el contacto humano? ¿Por qué odia todas las cosas divertidas y maravillosas? El estudiante de psicología en mí se obsesionó con entrar en la cabeza de Ken, mientras que el mocoso mimado en mí se obsesionó con entrar en su corazón.
En 2003, encontré la única cosa que amo más que a los chicos malos ...
Un buen reto.

es una genio, es la única manera en la que puedo empezar ésta reseña, diciendo
lo increíblemente talentosa y genial que es. Sólo ella escribe sobre sus
fracasos amorosos durante varios libros y nos hace salivar por ello, para
traernos a éste momento fantástico y esperado por todos (más por mí, KEN TE
AMO, ESCAPA CONMIGO) uhm si esperado por todos, en que conocemos a su “felices
para siempre”, a ese chico que fue un reto, su reto de amar y amarse a sí
misma, para tener lo que realmente merecía. Un maldito príncipe azul.
SUIT
empieza con una BB con el corazón roto por Hans, (lo siento si no leíste los otros
libros, se están perdiendo de mucho por cierto), trata de seguir con su vida
luego de una nueva y muy desastrosa ruptura amorosa. Y aparece Ken su amigo, el
que no gasta dinero innecesariamente, el que no bebe, no maldice y usa corbatas
de la manera correcta.
Fue
divertido de ver todos los altibajos que sufrieron, con sus personalidades tan
distintas, la desesperación de la joven BB, por abrazos y muestras de amor con
pirotecnia que nuestro Ken no le va a dar nunca, no es su estilo, más eso no es
malo. Se complementaban tan perfectamente, hasta cuando no se comprendían.
Ver
las luchas extras de nuestra heroína hizo todo mejor, su trabajo sin sentido,
su búsqueda de carrera, los chicos a los que atraía, sus amigos cercanos, la
pérdida de ellos (llorar mucho aquí), y como su historia de terror con cierto
skinhead llega a su fin (llora demasiado, mucho, muchísimo aquí), es como ese
topping extra en ésta entrega. Porque aunque obviamente su amor se me hace
estupendo, nuestra escritora es una chica increíble y brilla tanto que quieres
leer hasta su lista de tareas.
Volviendo a lo cursi, como todo en ésta vida,
su relación no fue fácil, algunas veces parecía que hablaban idiomas
diferentes, BB con su forma de ser más brillante que el Sol y Ken con su introspección
y casi taciturna manera de ver la vida, hace ésta una VERDADERA HISTORIA DE
AMOR, porque es fácil lo que te caen en el regazo y simplemente te calza, pero
lo que te hace luchar porque vale la pena es inmensamente más maravilloso.
La
forma en que su amistad/amor se desarrolla, es impresionante, lograron hacerme
llorar y reír al mismo tiempo, como pueden haber dos seres tan perfectos el uno
para el otro… pues no lo sé, me gustaría mi propio Ken con sus cupones de
comida gratis y dándome 9 palabras para ser feliz.

BB is a genius, it's the only way I can start
this review, saying how incredibly talented and great she is. Only she writes
about her love failures during several books and makes us salivate for it, to
bring us to this fantastic moment expected by all (more for me, KEN I LOVE YOU,
RUN AWAY WITH ME) uhm yes like I said expected by all, in were we know her
"Happily ever after", that boy who was a challenge, his challenge to
love and love herself, to have what she really deserved. A damn Prince Charming.
SUIT starts with a BB with a broken heart by
Hans, (I'm sorry if you didn't read the other books, you're missing a lot by
the way), trying to moving on with her life after a new and very disastrous
breakup. And Ken appears, his friend, the one who doesn't spend money
unnecessarily, the one who doesn't drink, doesn't curse and uses ties in the
right way.
It was fun to see all the ups and downs that
they suffered, with their very different personalities, the desperation of the
young BB, for hugs and love shows with pyrotechnics that our Ken will never
give her, it was just not his style, but that is not bad. They complemented
each other so perfectly, even when they did not understand each other.
Seeing our heroine's extra struggles made
everything better, her work without meaning, her pursuit of a career, the boy
she attracted, her close friends, the loss of them (crying a lot here), and her
horror story with a certain skinhead comes to an end (crying too much in here),
it's like that extra topping in this delivery. Because although obviously their
love makes me happy, our writer is an amazing woman and she shines so much that
you want to read even her chores list.
Returning to the corny, like everything in
this life, their relationship was not easy, sometimes it seemed like they spoke
different languages, BB with her way of being brighter than the Sun and Ken
with his introspection and almost taciturn way of seeing life, It makes this a
TRUE LOVE STORY, because it's easy what you fall on your lap and it simply fits
you, but what makes you fight because it's worth it is immensely more
wonderful.
The way their friendship / love develops, is
impressive, they managed to make me cry and laugh at the same time. How can be
two beings so perfect for each other? Well I do not know, but I would like my
own Ken with free food coupons, the one
that gives me 9 words to be happy.
